Team description
Remember Elite Sports Academy (RESA) is an elite sports institution dedicated to providing exceptional sports programs for young, talented athletes, empowering them to reach their highest potential. RESA is deeply committed to promoting sports development within and around the region, focusing on soccer, athletics, and netball. In the soccer program, RESA offers competitive opportunities for both boys and girls. The Under-14 and Under-16 girls’ teams participate in the Gauteng Women’s Development League, where young female athletes are encouraged to grow and compete. For the boys, RESA fields Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, and Under-19 teams in the Gauteng Development League, providing a platform for skill enhancement and competition at various age levels. Additionally, the senior boys' team competes in both the Sedibeng Hollywoodbets League and the ABC Motsepe League in the Free State, representing RESA in more advanced competitions. RESA’s commitment to developing skilled athletes is evident in its recent achievements. The Under-17 boys' team currently holds second place in Stream A of the Gauteng Development League, highlighting their hard work and progress this season. A notable success story from RESA’s soccer program is the recent promotion of Lucky Muthewi, a former RESA player, by Supersport United to play at PSL level at the young age of 17. His success is a testament to RESA’s dedication to preparing athletes for professional careers. Beyond soccer, RESA’s netball program includes both senior and developmental teams, catering to players at various stages in their athletic journey and supporting their growth in regional competitions. Furthermore, the academy’s Grassroot Program introduces boys and girls aged 5-12 to sports, primarily focusing on soccer and athletics. This program ensures that young athletes receive early developmental opportunities, setting a strong foundation for their future in sports.Group C
